The UK Board Result 2025 for classes 10th and 12th has finally been declared, bringing relief and excitement to over 2.23 lakh students across the state. This year’s exams, conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), were held from February 21 to March 11 and the results were officially declared today, April 19, at 11 am.

Record-breaking speed in preparing results
For the first time, the UK Board results were prepared and declared in record time. The evaluation of answer sheets of over 2.23 lakh students was completed by April 4. Advanced data processing systems contributed to this fast time-frame, ensuring timely results for students and schools.
A total of 1245 exam centres were set up across the state. Of these, 49 were single centres while 1196 worked as mixed centres for the smooth conduct of the exam.
Passing percentage and minimum marks
To pass in the UK Board result, students need to score at least 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and practical components. Those who are unable to meet this minimum will have the opportunity to appear for compartment exams. This rule ensures that students understand the basic concepts before moving further in their academic journey.
Toppers who excelled
This year’s results saw some exceptional performances. In class 10th, Priyanshi Rawat from Pithoragarh topped the list with a perfect score of 500/500, achieving a rare 100% result. She was followed by Shivam Maletha from Rudraprayag who scored 498 marks, becoming the highest scoring student among boys. Ayush from Pauri secured the third position with 495 marks.
In class 12th, Piyush Kholiya and Kanchan Joshi shared the top rank by scoring 488 out of 500 or 97.66% marks. Anshul Negi stood second with 97% and Harish Chandra Bijalwan third with 96%.
Comparison with last year
Compared to 2024, the board has performed consistently well. Last year, the UK Board result for class 10th recorded a pass percentage of 89.14%, while class 12th had a pass percentage of 82.63%. The trend of girls outperforming boys also continued, with female candidates having a higher pass percentage.
