Legal troubles cast a shadow over Kyren Lacy’s final days
Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy has tragically passed away at the age of 24. His death occurred in Houston and has been confirmed by his family member. Sources say the cause of death was suicide.

Kyren had been facing serious legal issues lately, stemming from a fatal accident that occurred near Chackbay in December last year. He was charged with negligent homicide, reckless operation, and leaving the scene of an accident. The incident claimed the life of 78-year-old Herman Hall. Authorities had reported that Kyren Lacy was allegedly driving at a high speed and veered into oncoming traffic, causing the fatal collision. He was briefly held in the Lafourche Parish Jail earlier this year in connection to the case.
A grand jury was scheduled to begin reviewing charges against Kyren the day after his death.
